Once a bankruptcy is dismissed, we are able to review an application and consider it for approval. While the credit score of the recent bankrupt applicant will likely not be good, other factors such as income and previous rental history will be reviewed and can provide what is needed for an approval.

Unfortunately, this eligibility does not occur until after the bankruptcy is discharged. If an applicant is still in a bankruptcy, a judge would have to approve the applicant entering into a lease contract and the obligations within that contract. There are different circumstances where this might occur. It is recommended that the potential applicant consult with their bankruptcy attorney to determine if that is an option that is believed possible.
