Purchases of HUD homes require a different process for inspections. The listing agent is not involved in setting these inspections up.
If you need to set up an inspection for a HUD home:
- You must have a ratified (fully executed) contract
- The inspection must then be coordinated with the Field Services company (FSM). They are the only party who can authorize utility activation and approve access for the sales agent, their buyer and the inspector.
